Our Open Sky Room + friYvan the legendary 2 Hearts and 1 Yurt style Camper Van is a unique way to experience Glamping.
FriYvan's “House” is in fact in the middle of the countryside but inside the Glamping. This will allow you to enjoy total privacy without sacrificing tranquility and especially safety. We have prepared a magical open-air room, furnished with everything you need for an unforgettable experience, where the real luxury is Nature!
You can watch the sunset from the old wrought-iron bed, light a fire in the huge Indian Bonfire, or enjoy a movie while lying down in the sitting area of the private cinema--all under the open sky!
THE VEHICLE.
FriYvan is a legendary 1992 VW T4 California with an all torque engine just in perfect 2 Hearts and 1 Yurt style! To pay homage to a wonderful woman and artist, with a spirit as rebellious and free as life On the Road, we camper themed it Frida Kahlo, using many reclaimed materials from the Yurt set-up. FriYvan's appearance is gritty on the outside and rather “masculine,” but with a contrasting colorful interior with a very feminine touch, like Frida's two souls.

DINNER €70.00 total per couple, per day (TO BE PAID IN CASH AT DEPARTURE)
Delivery directly to the Sky Room by our trusted restaurant: 3-course Tuscan meat menu with fresh local produce of Chef's choice and 1 Bottle of Organic Chianti.

THE COLABRODO...COOLING BATH IN THE RELAX BATHTUB *surcharge € 25.00 (per day)
A bathtub, with water at room temperature, where you can soak and cool off while sipping a good prosecco.
PRIVATE CINEMA PROJECTOR * free of charge, but by reservation.
The smallest projector you've ever seen is the technological gem you can reserve to project whatever you want or watch Netflix. It has usb input (if you want to bring a thumb drive with a surprise video) and HDMI.
You can project inside the van, or outside on the side for a truly fabulous setting.
INDIAN Bonfire / BBQ* € 25.00 (per bonfire)
A majestic Indian bonfire to enjoy as an atmosphere or use for cooking.
Wood pile, starter and dry for easy lighting. Use is of course free if you bring everything yourself. You will still find BBQ tools.
COLD/WARMING.
The van is equipped with heating but no air conditioning. Both in the cabin and in the back, however, there are convenient fans. From 4 p.m. onward, however, the van has its own shaded area.
EATING
The van's kitchen has a stove, a sink and a small refrigerator.
The stove provided, for safety reasons may only be used to heat water for tea and herbal teas, breakfast milk and to make good coffee with the Moka.
Dinner: The bonfire can be used either for atmosphere or for cooking on your own over the embers, alternatively you can order Dinner which our trusted Restaurant in Rapolano, will deliver directly to the FriYvan House. We have built a nice Gazebo made of Bamboo canes with a small table and chairs to dine comfortably and if it rains just mount the small table suspended inside the Van.
Breakfast: there is everything you need for an excellent Italian breakfast in the refrigerator, as well as a mini-bar corner with natural water included, snacks and drinks, which are instead paid for.
SLEEP
Whenever you want, you can set up your bed inside the Van, which has a comfortable 120 x 195 cm mattress.
It's also possible to sleep in the wrought-iron bed outside, but keep in mind that it's humid at night even in summer...in any case, you'll manage the evening using the facilities at your leisure.
BATHROOM
The double shower is located in the tailgate at the back of the van, has hot water, but the “walls” are just curtains. There is also a convenient solar shower in the corner of the open-air room. In any case if you come in winter take this into account before booking.
The toilet is a small Porta Potty, a pull-out chemical toilet that you can place wherever you like, while the Bidet are nice watering cans.
The back of the van is equipped with a small beauty corner with a sink and mirror, and bathrobes, towel, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and hair dryer are also available to you.
Also outdoors are a cold shower, a sun shower and a bamboo reed stall/bathroom.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
It will certainly be an opportunity for a one-of-a-kind evening, snuggled inside the Van, alone, in the midst of nature with the sound of rain as a soundtrack...a true love nest!
Of course, in this case you need to have a little extra adventure spirit and adaptation because the comforts that the outdoor space offers become unaffordable, but if you come to spend a magical evening...here, that one is guaranteed anyway!
TO KNOW.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on board the van.
The stove inside the van can only be used to heat water, milk and mocha.
We are very sorry, but we cannot accommodate animals.
Please prepare a small, non-rigid carry-on bag.
In case of damage to the Van, the amount will be charged to the card provided as a guarantee.
If it is not raining or too windy, even in winter you can fully enjoy all the facilities. If it rains, it is still a unique experience because it becomes a magical little love nest, but it definitely takes a little extra adaptive spirit.
In winter or if it is raining or windy, the shower becomes an optional extra at your discretion. Hot water is there, but you will always be outside for showering (with a tent, but outside)..
friYvan is delivered washed inside, but being on a dirt road, washing it outside every time would really be an offense to mother earth.
